Sharing my perspective from a 48 year old patient. Let me start by sharing what my procedure was. I had a breast augmentation, tummy tuck, liposuction, mons lift and muscle repair. I also had some fatty tissue removed under my arm pit. I want to share what my journey was like from beginning to end. I had been considering plastic surgery for quite a while. Before surgery I did a lot of research and came to find Modern Surgical Arts of Denver by chance on a flight to Mexico. There was a magazine article with a previous doctor who used to work there. After reading the article I was intrigued and curious what they could do for me. Visiting the office for the first time I was extremely nervous and not sure what to expect. I remember my mind was racing in a million different directions. Once I went back to the exam room the first person I met was Julia. She started asking me questions and as she did this she made me feel more comfortable. She went through the entire questioning process from why I wanted to do this to medical questions. By the end of her walking me through the questions I felt relaxed and to back this up my blood pressure was very high when taken the first time during the examination. The second person to examine me and find out why I was there was Dr Dastoury. When he came in the room I was feeling more relaxed and on why I was there. He also questioned me about why I was there and what procedures I was looking for. I was very impressed with his demeanor in the following ways. Very calming presence, professional, funny, inquisitive and a positive attitude. I was also impressed by the options and choices he presented to me. He did not present the procedures like a car salesman or try to push anything on me. If anything he gave me several options and reminded me that I didn’t need this but after 3 kids I deserved to feel the way I wanted to feel. After the visit I felt that the staff and doctor treated me like someone they would truly care for if I chose to move forward. I ultimately went ahead with the procedures and love, love, love my results. I want to tell everyone what sets Modern surgical Arts of Denver apart from Other practices. Some reasons are throughout my journey with them I have always felt cared for, valued and most of all my mental health was always placed in front of everything else. Meaning no matter how I was feeling they always put that first to make sure my needs were met. They backed this up by the staff and doctor continuing to call me to see how things were going. Dr Dastoury even called me while on vacation. This level of care can’t be duplicated. To wrap up this review I just want to share how the day of surgery went. I was fully prepared prior to surgery day due to the staff and Dr going over every parts of the procedure from beginning to end. I was nervous but almost in a calming way because everything they explained to me is exactly how it went. Before surgery they help you fully prep your body by providing vitamin's, proper diet, and nutrition so your recovery will be easier. This also could not be done without having a great support system in place such as family and or someone to help take care of you during your full recovery period. Someone recently asked me if I could do it all over again would you? Every time I say absolutely I would and only with the team at Modern Surgical Arts of Denver. Review from a caretakers point of view. I wanted to share my perspective from someone who has taken care of a patient of Dr Dastoury. The first thing is every patient should have a good support group in place when considering surgery. This can ensure a good experience after having a procedure done. Also, by having a good support system this can ensure that a patient has a safe and streamlined recovery process. This would include understanding of distribution of medications, physical recovery limitations, and any other requirements in relation to healing. Here is some of my experiences in the following ways. My spouse had a breast augmentation, liposuction, tummy tuck and a mons procedure. The first thing is managing her pain level with proscribing the proper medication at timely intervals. Secondly, replacing bandages and garments which needed to be worn during recovery. Third applying medications to stitches and open skin during healing. The next things were helping to bathe her as well as dressing her. Another would be feeding her a proper diet instructed by the awesome team at Modern Surgical Arts! Lastly, I would say the most important part of having a good support group or someone highly involved during the recovery process is the mental health side. Some folks struggle with surgery and some depression that may follow questioning if they made the right decision. By being their support person or group you can help them with any problems or struggles they may encounter. I would like to once again thank everyone at Modern Surgical Arts of Denver for providing top quality services and making my wife feel like she was the most important patient from the first visit and every visit thereafter.

A Life-Saving Miracle Worker – Dr. Dastoury at Modern Surgical Arts of Denver On December 7, 2024, Dr. Dastoury entered our lives, and we will forever be grateful for his incredible talent, compassion, and unwavering support during the most challenging time we have ever faced. He quite literally saved my husband John's life. John was rushed to Littleton Advent Hospital after a horrific multi-trauma motorcycle accident. The sight of him in the trauma room was nearly unbearable—his face was completely unrecognizable. Every bone from his upper jaw to his forehead had been crushed, his nose flattened beyond recognition. I was torn between desperately wanting him to recover and fearing what his future would hold if he did. Dr. Dastoury immediately went to work, performing emergency surgery while also beginning the complex reconstruction of John’s face. Hours later, when I was brought back to see him in the ICU, I was overwhelmed with emotion. I could not believe how much better he already looked—Dr. D had performed nothing short of a miracle. For the next eight days, Dr. Dastoury visited John daily, monitoring his progress. When it was time for his final facial reconstruction surgery, Dr. D worked tirelessly for hours, placing 12 thin metal plates and 58 screws to rebuild what had been destroyed. The transformation was astonishing. When John was finally able to come off the ventilator and saw the before-and-after images, he was in absolute shock. Beyond his remarkable surgical skill, Dr. D’s compassion truly set him apart. One Friday evening, John’s face began to swell, and we called his office, knowing they had already closed. Expecting to wait until Monday or possibly visit urgent care, we were stunned when my phone rang just minutes after hanging up. Dr. D himself had called, addressing our concerns immediately and getting John started on antibiotics right away. Now, just over three months into recovery, we know there’s still a long road ahead, but without Dr. Dastoury, John might never have had this second chance. We cannot express enough gratitude for his expertise, kindness, and dedication. If you are searching for a surgeon who truly cares, look no further than Dr. Dastoury. He is not just a doctor—he is a lifesaver.

I am so happy and blessed that I found Dr. Dastoury! After a 100 lb weightloss I had very loose skin and stubborn areas and he made my tummy/body look incredible with a tummy tuck+360lipo.
